  1. Invest in technologies that employees and / or customers are not ready to use
  2. Focus on metrics that measure different aspects of the business in isolation of the total experience of customers
  3. Deliver quarterly results at the expense of your customers and employees
  4. Ignore the competition
  5. Become efficient but not effective or effective but not efficient
  6. Grow the business at the expense of brand promise
  7. Render delivering results the only thing that matters i.e. at the expense of integrity
